The news media should be blamed for the unhealthy paparazzi culture and going to the extremes for sensational news. How far do you agree?

According to the law, besides the use of hacking, the news media has done nothing wrong at all. By the way, why can't the news media report anything as they want? The news media is just doing their job, and without these exciting and 'juicy' news, the public may lose interest in reading and would affect its survival. We know the a fierce competition is happening on between news corporations and without these 'juicy' news, it may lead to a downfall of the news corporation. Thus we see that to an extent, the news corporation is being 'forced' to report such scandals to ensure its survivability. Further, more, the public definitely have the right to know what is happening around them and the news corporation is just doing their job to enable the public to know what is happening. Thus after all, the news corporation is just doing their job and according to the law, they have done nothing wrong (besides hacking).

However, morally speaking, I totally agree that the news corporation should be ultimately blamed for such unhealthy paparazzi culture. If you are the family member of the victim, what would you feel? It is already very sad for the husband being murdered, but still, no consolation, no encouragement, but only further insult are given to the family member by the news corporation. Thus we sees the selfishness of the 'news of the world', only care about their own benefit and does not matter how hard it could injured the people in relationship to the victim. Further more, the use of hacking is already offences the law in the first place. Yet, it is used to make fun and insult others. All of these only shows the inconsideration and selfishness of 'news of the world'.

It was a fact that 80%~90% of Singaporeans does not like national service. However, 80%~90% of my classmate say that they like national service and show patriotism for Singapore. Eh? don't you feel strange? Or they really get influenced so much by the poem 'The soldier'?

I don't think so, that blog promp is treated as a homework more than a way to express your opinion, which there are MODEL ANSWER given. If you say that you does not show patriotism for Singapore, you'll be attacked by everyone with NEGATIVE COMMENTS! And maybe the teacher will give you less mark for not following the MODEL ANSWER!

It's so frustrating about such phenomenon shown, your real opinion cannot be raised? Must we follow the MODEL ANSWER? Must we follow the MAJORITY?

Let's look at this topic - ' In your opinion, is money important in relationship? Yet, I believe that regardless the word 'In your opinion' is present or not? The model answer will be the same. Am I right to say that the ability of students to raise different opinion has been limited in the education system, by the MODEL ANSWER?

In P6, I once found a special way on solving a maths question without using the formula given. Although I get the correct answer, the teacher give me a 'X', because the steps are wrong, or more specific, did not follow the formula. Now I review on the question, my working is not wrong, there are indeed such way on solving angles on triangle.

Well, I believe that this post is not well-crafted and is written in a haphazard manner. Though, I am writing this post not just to defend myself but also others who dare to raise up their real opinion. It just look so bored looking at the posts from my classmate as all of them are nearly the same, so I can just copy and paste my comment......

Have you ever receive a rude and insulting comment? When reading the comments of some my classmates on our blogs, I feel that some of the comments really annoyed me, which shows disrespect to the writer and some even sound like commanding the writer ' you must not....' Isn't comment used as a way to provide constructive ideas and encouragement to the writer? Instead of copying everything down on-line, I hope that you could visit the following website on how to write a good blog comment:
